Number-Portability
TITAN Master and Edge software deployed on off-the-shelf Linux / Solaris servers delivers a highly efficient, low-cost infrastructure for providing access to number portability data via both IP and SS7 interfaces.
- AIN 0.2 Service: Supports "Info_analyzed" TCAP query per GR-2936 Core.
- ANSI-41 Service: Supports "NPREQ" TCAP query per TIA/EIA-756-A and TIA/EIA-41D.
- PCS-1900 Service: Supports "Provide Instructions Start" TCAP query per ANSI T1-708 and T1-114.
- SRF Service: The Signaling Relay Function (SRF) service provides mobile number portability (MNP) functionality as defined by ETSI EN 301 716 v7.3.1 (2000-10).
- SIGTRAN (M3UA) or T1/E1 low-speed links: TITAN Edge server software can be deployed with a SIGTRAN/M3UA interface or T1/E1 low-speed links to support SS7/C7 service requests for number-portability data from circuit switched voice systems.

The diagram below shows a North American example of how the NetNumber LSMS platform and TITAN Server can be deployed to support number-portability resolution services. In this example, a US carrier is utilizing the NetNumber hosted LSMS to provision multiple fully redundant on-site TITAN Edge servers providing number-portability query services over a SIGTRAN M3UA interface.
